Portsmouth 1973/4
A 24 storey quick build tower block, and the builders had made a ‘play area’ out of some of their materials. This boy had been playing around on his own and when he saw my camera started to show off… I took photographs but this, the 37th on the roll, when he had finished seemed to sum up his bleak future.
A 35mm camera and I could have done with a wide angle lens to bring in more of the flats
